DR Care Solutions Professional Code of Conduct


When providing care guidance and assistance to a person enquiring about our services or engaging us as a client, DR Care Solutions personnel will:

  • Respect that person’s right to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making.

  • Treat them with dignity and respect, and value their diversity.

  • Respect their privacy.

  • Serve them in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill.

  • Act with integrity, honesty and transparency.

  • Promptly take steps to raise and act on any concerns impacting the quality and safety of care, support and services they receive.

  • If required, provide advocacy on their behalf.

  • Provide services free from all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse and sexual misconduct; and take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to the same.

 

This Code of Professional Conduct was developed in line with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Amendment (Code of Conduct and Banning Orders) Rules 2022 released by the Commonwealth Government on 1 December 2022.


Its principles are reflected in the DR Care Solutions Terms of Business/Contract Agreement signed by DR Care Solutions Managing Director, Danielle Robertson, and the client on engagement.
